A Meath man jailed for raping a female he came across in the internet dating app Badoo has lost an appeal against his conviction.
Martin Sherlock (31) plus the girl, an internationwide nationwide, had arranged to meet up but she told him they might not need intercourse with out a condom. Sherlock, of Athlumney Wood, Navan, Co Meath had pleaded not liable to raping the lady at her Dublin house on August 14, 2015. He pleaded bad to stealing her cell phone.
